What to expect
The tour starts with a thorough, unhurried session with your guide at the kayak centre. They'll walk you through navigation, safety protocols, camp routines, and help you tweak the suggested route to suit what interests you—longer paddles, quieter spots, whatever. Then you're equipped, briefed, and paddling out solo. Days follow your rhythm: paddle to an island, set up camp, cook on the provided stove, explore on foot if you fancy it. The suggested itinerary is genuinely helpful without being prescriptive; we found ourselves deviating based on weather and how we felt, and that flexibility is the whole point.
