This 9-hour expedition takes small groups (3–4 divers per guide) to Thailand's premier dive sites with safety gear, meals, and insurance included. Each dive runs up to 50 minutes, depending on air consumption. Suited to divers aged 10 and up with solid fitness and no serious health conditions.
Highlights
- Three dives at Racha's best-known reefs and drop-offs
- Groups capped at three to four divers per instructor
- Full equipment, insurance, and meals on the boat
- Free pickups from Patong, Kamala, Karon, Kata
- Underwater visibility and marine life typical of the region
What to expect
You'll start early, heading out on a modern dive boat to the Racha Islands. After a briefing and first dive, you'll surface, eat, and rest before diving again. The third dive follows the same pattern. Depending on conditions and how quickly you burn air, you might be down for closer to 40 minutes than the full 50. The boat crew handles most logistics; your job is to manage buoyancy, stay with your guide, and enjoy the reef. Expect moderate currents and depths between 12 and 25 metres at most sites.
Good to know
Book early if you have dietary needs—the crew caters for vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free. Don't fly or ascend to altitude for 18 hours after your last dive. Bring a towel and seasickness tablets if prone. The dive computer is not included; rent or bring your own if required.
