What to expect
You'll board a small vessel and head out to a series of swimming and snorkelling spots tucked between the villages. The water is calm in these sheltered coves, making for easy entries and good visibility underwater. Between swims, the boat cruises the coastline so you see Monterosso, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola and Riomaggiore from their seaward side—often their most striking perspective. There's time to photograph and dry off between stops. The skipper offers light snacks and local wine to savour whilst anchored with the villages in view.
