What to expect
The day starts with hotel collection, then heads east to Padangbai for two snorkelling sessions. Visibility varies, but you'll encounter reef dwellers including moray eels and camouflaged scorpionfish. The wooden boat ride offers views of the coastline and Silayukti Temple. After lunch at the beach, you return inland to Ubud. The Monkey Forest walk involves close encounters with macaques—keep loose items secured. The waterfall visit is a short jungle hike; water depth and flow depend on season. You'll finish at your hotel by mid-afternoon or early evening.
Good to know
Bring swimwear and a towel; neither is provided. Souvenir photos cost extra. Not suitable if you have spinal injuries, cardiovascular concerns, or are pregnant. Infants must sit on an adult's lap in the boat. All fitness levels welcome, though the waterfall walk involves uneven terrain.
