What to expect
The captain greets you with prosecco and nibbles before heading south. Ninety minutes of coastal navigation gets you to Amalfi—plenty of time to watch limestone cliffs, hidden coves and tiny villages slip past. You'll have time to walk Amalfi's narrow lanes and browse its cathedral before pressing on to Positano, where the village tumbles vertically down to a pebble beach.
