Trek the dramatic limestone cliffs of Italy's Amalfi Coast on this 4–5 hour guided loop from Bomerano. The Path of the Gods delivers unobstructed views of Positano, Praiano, and Capri across turquoise water. Midway, you'll stop at a shepherd's property for lunch: garden vegetables, handmade pasta with tomato sauce, local goat cheese, cured meats, bread and wine. Shaded sections of elm and oak alternate with open ridges carved by caves and terraced vineyards. The route returns you to the starting hamlet.

What to expect

You'll start in the quiet hamlet of Bomerano and climb onto an exposed ridge with constant sea views. The path narrows in places—steep drops are real, though the ground underfoot is solid. Roughly halfway through, you'll reach the shepherd's hut where he'll have prepared pasta and laid out fresh produce. Eat at his table, drink the local red wine, and rest your legs. The second half retraces or loops back through forest sections before descending to Bomerano. Expect moderate physical demand: sustained uphill at the start, steady underfoot, and some rocky scrambling.
