About this tour

Sail the Amalfi Coast from Sorrento aboard a small boat with no more than six passengers. You'll cruise past dramatic cliffs, the Li Galli Islands and Furore Fjord, stopping for a swim in clear water before exploring Positano's steep streets and Amalfi's historic centre. The eight-hour journey includes light snacks, drinks and a bottle of Prosecco to share, with a professional skipper narrating the route back to base.

Highlights

  • Swim in emerald Mediterranean water between towns
  • Explore Positano's narrow lanes and local shops solo
  • Visit Amalfi's cathedral and medieval town core
  • Sail past Li Galli Islands and Furore Fjord
  • Prosecco toast aboard a six-person maximum boat
  • English-speaking skipper throughout the day

What to expect

You'll board a small motorboat early morning and head east along the coast, taking in sheer cliffs and hidden inlets as the skipper shares context. After ninety minutes exploring Positano—grabbing lunch, browsing boutiques, sitting on the beach—you'll return to the boat and motor further to Amalfi. There you get another ninety minutes to wander the Duomo and old town. Between villages, the boat anchors in shallow coves for a twenty-minute swim. Expect slow, scenic cruising rather than speed; sea state permitting, every stop happens. You'll return to Sorrento mid-afternoon.

Good to know
