What to expect
After pickup from Naples, you'll spend the morning and early afternoon in the minivan, following the coast's famous switchbacks. Your driver provides context about local customs and historical events as you go. At each stop, you have time to explore independently — browse Positano's boutiques, grab lunch (your cost) and a pastry in Amalfi's town centre, wander Villa Rufolo's terraced grounds if you wish. Ravello's belvedere offers expansive sea views. Most of the day involves travelling between locations; expect roughly three to four hours of driving. You'll be back in Naples by early evening.
Good to know
Bring comfortable walking shoes for cobbled streets and garden paths. Lunch isn't included, so budget for meals in Amalfi or Positano. Villa entrance fees are separate. Cruise passengers must provide ship details and boarding times at booking; missed departures aren't refunded. Casual clothes are fine; consider a hat and sunglasses.
