What to expect
After meeting in Verona, you'll spend the morning on foot exploring the city's Roman amphitheatre, medieval bridges, and Renaissance squares with your guide. The pace is unhurried, allowing time to absorb each location. In the afternoon, you'll travel to a working Valpolicella estate where the sommelier walks you through four wines, explaining soil, grape selection, and the weeks-long drying process that concentrates flavour in Amarone. Lunch arrives mid-tasting—fresh local salami, aged cheese, and more wine. Expect 2–3 hours tasting and eating. Return transport to Venice is included.
