About this tour

A ten-hour private tour through Ubud's most visited attractions, starting with a thrilling swing above the Ayung River, followed by the Sacred Monkey Forest where 1,200+ macaques roam freely amongst jungle and temples. You'll walk the emerald contours of Tegalalang's rice terraces, then cool off swimming at two neighbouring waterfalls—Tibumana and Kanto Lampo. Transport, entry fees (except the swing), and water included throughout.

Highlights

  • Swing suspended above the Ayung River gorge with valley views
  • Walk amongst 1,200+ wild Balinese macaques in temple forest
  • Trek the stepped rice paddies of Tegalalang on foot
  • Swim in two separate waterfall pools back-to-back
  • Private driver and air-conditioned vehicle all day
  • All major entrance tickets pre-arranged

What to expect

You'll start early with a pickup, then drive to the swing for adrenaline and photos above lush gorge. Next is the Monkey Forest—expect crowds, especially mid-morning, but the jungle canopy and temple ruins reward the chaos. Tegalalang rice terraces are photogenic and walkable at your own pace. By afternoon you'll reach the waterfalls; both are swimmable but can be slippery and busy. Bring a change of clothes. The day finishes by late afternoon. Fitness-wise, there's walking on uneven terrain and temple steps, but nothing strenuous.

Good to know

Lunch isn't provided, so eat beforehand or pack snacks. Wear water shoes or grip-sole sandals for waterfall rocks. Monkeys steal sunglasses and loose items—keep bags zipped. Swing fees (around 100k–200k IDR) are separate. Early start means an earlier finish.
