What to expect
You'll board a modern, well-maintained boat and head out onto the Bay of Naples with your own crew. The route is flexible—some groups head straight for Capri's famous sea caves, others potter along the Amalfi cliffs stopping to swim and snorkel. Expect a full day on deck with sun exposure; most boats have shaded areas, but bring hat and sunscreen. The sea can be choppy depending on conditions. You'll have time to explore underwater rock formations and perhaps anchor in quiet bays away from the tourist boats. Lunch isn't included, so either pack supplies or time a restaurant stop ashore.
Good to know
Moderate fitness required; the boat rocks with swell. Not suitable if pregnant, have back problems, or weak cardiovascular health. Public transport links available nearby if needed. Bring cash for meals and harbour fees not covered by the charter price.
