Paddle out from Barcelona to Spain's wild Costa Brava coastline for a full day combining kayaking, snorkelling and optional cliff jumping in crystal-clear Mediterranean waters. What to expect
You'll meet at a picturesque beach south of Barcelona after a coach journey from the city centre. Your certified guides navigate the group by kayak through the Costa Brava's most scenic stretches—narrow passages between cliffs, small caves accessible only from water, and spots teeming with fish. The pace is relaxed; you control how much you paddle. After 2.5–3 hours on the water, guides lead you back to the beach where you have several hours free. Swim further out, snorkel independently, doze on the sand, or walk to a nearby bar for refreshments (your shout). Lunch—a fresh sandwich—arrives mid-afternoon before your return journey to Barcelona.
Good to know
Wear swimwear under your clothes to save changing time. Bring plenty of water and eat a proper breakfast beforehand; lunch comes late. Towels and fins aren't provided. You must be a confident swimmer—non-swimmers won't be allowed on kayaks. Weight limit is 115 kg per kayak. Public transport is cheaper and more reliable than taxis during rush hour.
