Three guided dives around Racha Yai, an island with year-round dive sites off Thailand's coast. What to expect
You'll start with an air-conditioned vehicle pickup and breakfast before heading to the boat. The first dive is likely in one of the northern bays where the seabed slopes gently—perfect for getting your bearings underwater. The water clarity depends on season; you may have excellent visibility or moderate, depending on when you visit. Dives two and three take you to the east coast's rockier terrain where currents assist a leisurely drift. Expect to see coral gardens, schools of jacks and snappers, and the occasional larger animal. Lunch and snacks happen between dives.
Good to know
Not suitable if you have spinal injuries, are pregnant, or have cardiovascular concerns. All fitness levels welcome otherwise. Public transport options exist nearby if you prefer independent travel. Alcoholic drinks aren't included; dinner is your own responsibility.
