Spend a full day learning to dive at Menjangan Island Marine Park with a certified PADI instructor guiding you through theory, pool work, and two open water dives. Based in Bali, this eight-hour experience takes you into one of Indonesia's premier dive sites, with all gear provided and lunch included. If you decide to pursue full certification afterwards, today's training counts toward your Open Water qualification.

What to expect
Your day begins with classroom instruction covering diving fundamentals, safety protocols, and equipment use. You'll then move to a pool or confined water area to practise essential skills under direct supervision before heading to Menjangan for your two open water dives. Your instructor stays with you throughout, monitoring your comfort and technique. Expect to be in and out of the water several times as you build confidence. The pace is unhurried, designed for newcomers to learn properly rather than rush through.
Good to know
Park entry fees (225,000 IDR weekdays, 325,000 IDR weekends/public holidays) are paid separately on arrival. Not suitable if you have spinal injuries, cardiovascular concerns, or are pregnant. Bring sunscreen and a light jumper for between dives. Most fitness levels manage fine—let your instructor know of any physical limitations beforehand.
