What to expect
You'll be fitted with helmet and harness at the station, then shuttled to the launch point. The initial step off the platform is abrupt—there's no gentle acceleration. Wind speed matters; on sirocco days, expect to be moving at the upper limit. Your body remains nearly horizontal as you're pulled downslope across the void. The descent lasts roughly three to five minutes depending on conditions. Landing is controlled but firm; staff guide you through the braking zone. Ground time is minimal; shuttle returns you promptly.
Good to know
Not suitable for spinal injuries, pregnancy, or serious cardiovascular conditions. Children and infants can participate if accompanied. Service animals welcome. All facilities and pathways are wheelchair accessible. GoPro hire isn't included if you want footage. Wear secure footwear. Sirocco winds make it faster but can affect scheduling.
