What to expect
You'll check in at Reef Fleet Terminal by 7.15am for an 8.00am departure. The boat cruises to two outer reef zones where you'll spend five hours in the water. Snorkellers can explore at leisure while divers complete their pre-booked dive (or intro orientation if new to diving). The crew manages all equipment and provides assistance throughout. Lunch is served onboard—fresh catches prepared to order, with vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free options. On the return journey, you'll enjoy wine and light snacks. Good to know
Arrive early for check-in. Divers need medical clearance beforehand, especially those over 65 or with certain conditions. Children under 12 can't dive (Queensland law). Under-18s must stay with a parent. Don't dive within 24 hours of flying. Confirm dietary needs 24 hours ahead. Helicopter weight limit is 130kg.
