What to expect
Your guides will collect you and drive through Bolgheri's vineyards to the first estate, where you'll walk the grounds and taste several wines with explanation of the vineyard's philosophy and vintage details. After an hour or so, you'll move to the second winery for a similar experience. Mid-afternoon, you'll sit down to a Tuscan meal at a local spot—expect seasonal pasta, local meats, and cheese. Throughout, Francesca and Margarethe narrate the area's history: how it became synonymous with Super Tuscan innovation, which families shaped its identity, and what makes these slopes distinctive. Tastings are paid separately on the day.
