What to expect
Your driver collects you and takes you first to Pals, where you wander narrow lanes lined with arches, doorways and carved stone spanning over 1000 years. The surrounding rice paddies are particularly striking during bloom. From there, head to Girona proper—a compact, layered city where the guide walks you through the old quarter, then up onto the city walls for unobstructed views across rooftops and the converging rivers below. You'll visit the Arab baths, a rare survivor from the 12th century tucked within a convent. Before returning, you'll explore Peratallada's golden-stone streets. Lunch is yours to arrange in Platja d'Aro, and there's time for browsing local shops.
Good to know
Maximum eight travellers keeps the pace intimate. Prams and strollers work for infants; toddlers sit on laps during transport. No extreme walking fitness needed, though Girona's ramparts involve stairs. Bring water and comfortable shoes. Tips, snacks, and lunch aren't included.
