What to expect
You'll depart early for Menjangan Island within the Taman National Bali Barat park. Your guide leads two dives at the island's signature sites, where the underwater topography drops steeply into walls draped with soft corals and sea fans. The water clarity lets you spot small critters like pygmy seahorses among the gorgonians, whilst larger residents—mainly turtles—patrol the reef. Between dives, you'll eat lunch aboard the boat with fresh fruit and drinks. The boat is quick and efficient; most divers finish by mid-afternoon.
