Learn traditional Balinese silver jewellery crafting in a working studio set amongst Ceking's rice paddies, just north of Ubud. Over two hours, you'll hand-carve your own design using five grams of pure silver and manual techniques passed down through generations. The studio sits near other attractions, making it easy to combine with onward plans. Kids are welcome to create alongside you, and local snacks keep you fuelled through the process.

What to expect

You'll be shown fundamental carving techniques, then guided through creating a piece you've designed—rings, bracelets, earrings, pendants. The rice-field setting is genuinely beautiful, and the studio doubles as a gemstone shop if you fancy upgrading your finished piece. Sessions run two hours; anything longer costs extra.
