What to expect
Your first day stays on Ko Kut's beach, where your instructor walks you through diving theory and basic underwater skills in shallow water. You'll practise breathing underwater, clearing your mask, and managing buoyancy until confident. Days two and three flip to boat-based reef diving. You'll descend to explore coral gardens and spot reef fish, each dive building on the last. The pace is steady—no rushing. Between dives you'll rest, eat, and debrief with your guide. Weather dictates the schedule; if conditions turn rough, you'll reschedule to calmer days.
Good to know
Not suitable if pregnant or with cardiovascular concerns. Dives depend on favourable weather; poor conditions mean rebooking. Koh Rang visits incur a national park fee (paid on the day). Bring sun protection and a light jumper for boat rides.
