About this tour
Spend two and a half hours painting iconic Roman landmarks in a converted 17th-century palazzo whilst working through pitchers of Italian wine and wood-fired pizza. A local artist guides you through the fundamentals—no experience needed—and you'll leave with your own canvas in hand. It's less about producing gallery-worthy work and more about loosening up, laughing with strangers, and getting messy in a proper Roman setting.

What to expect
You'll arrive at the studio, grab your canvas and brushes, and get a brief technical rundown from your instructor on composition and colour mixing. Then the wine flows and the painting begins. You might attempt a Colosseum or the Trevi Fountain; accuracy isn't the goal. Expect a relaxed group vibe—everyone's here for the same reason: to create something imperfect and memorable. The pizza arrives mid-session, and you'll keep painting as you eat and chat. By the end, you'll have a canvas that's uniquely yours, wine-fuelled decisions and all.
Good to know
Non-drinkers get soft drinks instead. The pizza is traditional Roman-style, but this class cannot accommodate gluten-free or coeliac requirements. All painting supplies are provided; wear clothes you don't mind staining. The studio is accessible for all fitness levels.
