What to expect
You'll spend the morning winding through hairpin bends with increasingly dramatic sea views. The driver drops you near each town centre so you can wander independently—grab an espresso, browse shops, eat lunch (your cost). Positano rewards climbing its steep lanes; Amalfi's piazza and duomo are central and walkable; Ravello sits high above, quieter and cooler. The Grotto visit happens by boat (separate fee). Expect crowded pavements in summer and narrow streets not suited to rushing. The drive itself is part of the experience—lean back and watch the coastline unfold.
Good to know
Wear comfortable walking shoes; each town involves some climbing or steps. Book a licensed guide separately if you want detailed historical context. Lunch costs extra. Grotto entry is separate. The route is wheelchair accessible. Infant seats and prams are catered for. Best visited May–June or September–October to avoid peak summer crowds.
