About this tour
Spend seven hours exploring Capri's coastline aboard a private vessel—choose between a 38-foot Ferretti or 25-foot traditional gozzo. Your captain and crew handle navigation while you discover sea caves, dramatic rock formations, and hidden coves at your rhythm. Swim in crystalline waters, sip prosecco and nibble fresh fruit mid-voyage, then anchor for lunch at a waterside trattoria. The pace is entirely yours: linger where it suits you, snorkel off secluded spots, or simply watch the limestone cliffs shift in afternoon light.
Highlights
- Sea caves and arched rock formations along Capri's southern edge
- Swimming and snorkelling in sheltered Mediterranean bays
- Fresh fruit, prosecco, and snacks throughout the day
- Lunch at a captain-recommended waterside restaurant
- Choose your own departure town and return point
What to expect
You'll board early morning and spend the first hour cruising to Capri's most dramatic stretches of coastline. Expect stops at two or three notable grottoes where the water's incredibly clear; the crew provides snorkelling kit if you want it. Mid-morning brings refreshments on deck. Around midday the boat heads to a quieter restaurant anchorage where you'll eat (cost separate). Afternoon is more swimming and cruising, with time to simply sit and absorb the scenery. The return journey is leisurely—bring a book or doze in the sun. A modest swell is normal; tell your captain beforehand if you're prone to motion sickness.
Good to know
Lunch isn't included but the captain suggests spots matching your tastes. Bring suncream and a hat—there's little shade on deck. The boat has a toilet but no shower. Not suitable if you have significant heart or fitness concerns. Public transport reaches your departure point easily.
