About this tour
Set out on a private boat from Capri for seven to eight hours exploring the island's coastal gems. You'll navigate to secluded coves, sea caves, and the Faraglioni rocks, swimming in transparent waters and viewing the Blue Grotto from the water. The skipper steers while you choose which spots to linger at, with refreshments, snorkelling gear, and onboard showers included. Two hours cover transit between sites; the rest is yours to anchor, swim, and soak in the seascape.
Highlights
- Swim among the Faraglioni limestone stacks
- Explore hidden caves unreachable from land
- View Blue Grotto entrance from your boat
- Snorkel in sheltered turquoise bays
- Flexible itinerary—choose where to stop
- Cold drinks, light snacks, and fresh towels
- English-speaking crew handles navigation
What to expect
You'll board in the morning and head straight for Capri's most dramatic spots. Expect around two hours of actual boat movement spread throughout the day as your skipper takes you between locations. The remaining five to six hours you're moored or drifting slowly, giving you time to wade in, snorkel, and simply float. The crew keeps drinks flowing and handles anchoring; bring a book or just watch the water change colour. Swimming clothes are essential—the onboard shower rinses off salt afterwards. If the Blue Grotto appeals, budget extra euros and time for the small-boat entry fee and queue.
Good to know
Port taxes (€100 per boat) and Blue Grotto tickets (€18 per person) aren't included. Fuel is separate. Prams and small children are welcome; infants must stay on a lap. Pregnant travellers should reconsider due to boat movement. Only those 21+ receive alcohol; younger passengers get soft drinks.
