What to expect

Your driver collects you from your Florence hotel around 9am and drives south into rolling vineyard country. In Siena, you'll have time to wander the striped cathedral and tight medieval streets at your own pace before the group heads to a working winery. Here a local guide walks you through barrel rooms and explains production methods, then pours tastes of their current releases. You'll also visit an olive oil or balsamic producer. Between stops, your driver points out Tuscan landmarks. If you've pre-arranged lunch, you'll eat on a farm or in a winery restaurant (not included in tour price). By early evening, you're back in Florence.
