What to expect

Depart Positano in the early morning and motor toward Capri's eastern cliffs. You'll see the three Grottoes—their hues shift with light angle and boat position—and anchor for a snorkel if conditions allow. By mid-day, you'll have a few hours ashore to climb Capri's steep streets, browse boutiques, or rest at a café. Late afternoon, the boat heads northwest toward Amalfi's pastel waterfront.
