About this tour
Spend a full day exploring Favignana and Levanzo, two rugged islands off Sicily's northwest coast, aboard your own private boat. Navigate past sea caves and secluded rocky inlets, dropping anchor at turquoise swimming spots like Cala Rossa and Bue Marino. Bring snorkels or float idle in gin-clear water while the skipper handles the helm. Lunch arrives onboard—local arancini and bread cunzato—as you drift past the historic tuna processing plant. What to expect
Your skipper collects you and motors out into the Tyrrhenian Sea, where the Egadi Islands rise from deep blue water. The boat stops at 3–4 spots, each one a different shade of blue depending on the seabed. You'll swim or snorkel while the crew readies a simple lunch—arancini and local bread—served on deck. There's no itinerary pressure; you stay as long as you want at each cove. Mid-afternoon, you'll cruise past the old tonnara (tuna factory) that dominates Favignana's waterfront, then drift toward Levanzo as the sun slides lower. A glass of prosecco or spritz arrives as the light softens across the water.
Good to know
Wear reef-safe sunscreen and a rash guard or light top—the Sicilian sun reflects off the water. Bring a towel and waterproof phone case. Not suitable if pregnant or with heart conditions. Infant seats available on request. Public transport reaches the departure point.
