About this tour
This full-day loop through central Bali connects three of the island's most photographed landmarks with the quieter countryside between them. You'll drive through the emerald rice paddies of Jatiluwih, hunt for the Banyumala twin falls buried in jungle canopy, and finish at Tanah Lot temple perched on its iconic sea-cliff. The pace is steady—expect mostly driving with photo stops rather than deep exploration. All entrance fees are separate.
Highlights
- Banyumala waterfall hunt through jungle terrain
- Jatiluwih rice terraces, UNESCO-listed agricultural landscape
- Ulun Danu temple reflected in Beratan Lake
- Tanah Lot and Batu Bolong temples at coastal vantage points
- Air-conditioned transport through mountain passes
What to expect
Expect a comfortable but full itinerary. You'll spend roughly 6–7 hours on roads and at viewpoints, with the drive itself offering constant scenery. The waterfall visit involves scrambling down a slippery track—it's short but muddy. Temple views are spectacular but crowded, especially late afternoon. Bring a camera and patience for traffic. Lunch is your responsibility; options range from warung near Jatiluwih to tourist restaurants near Tanah Lot. The route climbs into cooler highlands, so temperature shifts are noticeable.
Good to know
All temple and waterfall entrance fees are paid separately on arrival—budget around 150,000–250,000 IDR total. Wear trainers for the waterfall scramble and bring a light layer for the hills. The drive includes winding mountain roads; if you have back or heart concerns, this tour involves sustained sitting and may not suit you.
