What to expect
Your driver collects you and heads toward the coast. In Positano, you'll navigate steep pedestrian streets—no cars allowed—where independent boutiques, ceramic studios and pastry counters fill narrow passages before opening onto the beach. Amalfi town sits lower, its cathedral and surrounding piazzas reflecting centuries as a trading hub; local lemon varieties dominate the food scene. Ravello perches high above, quieter and cooler, with churches, galleries and private gardens overlooking the sea. The route involves walking on slopes and stairs, especially in Positano. You return to your lodging or pickup point at day's end.
Good to know
Wear comfortable shoes with grip for steep, narrow streets. Lunch isn't included—plan stops in village restaurants. Bring sunscreen and a hat. Prams and strollers work in flatter areas but not steep Positano lanes. Service animals welcome. Suitable for all fitness levels if you pace yourself.
