What to expect
Your guide picks you up at your accommodation or airport and drives you through Ubud's rural landscape in an air-conditioned car. Expect moderate walking between stops—some paths are uneven and muddy after rain. At Tirtha Empul, you'll wade through cool spring water alongside locals performing purification rituals; bring a change of clothes. The monkey forest requires awareness (don't provoke them, secure loose items), and the rice terraces involve standing and observing rather than hiking deep trails. Most stops allow 30–45 minutes to explore at a comfortable pace.
Good to know
Bring swimwear, a towel, and water shoes for temple and waterfall visits. Wear lightweight, breathable clothing and sun protection. The tour doesn't include lunch, so eat beforehand or pack snacks. Not suitable for those with spinal injuries, pregnancy, or cardiovascular concerns. Bottled water is provided in the vehicle.
