Ride an ATV through Ubud's backcountry for 90 minutes to two hours, navigating jungle tracks, bamboo groves, river crossings, and mudflats that demand concentration and nerve. This isn't a manicured trail ride—you'll tackle steep terrain, wade through water, and slide beneath waterfalls. The route loops through farmland and villages, giving glimpses of rural Balinese life beyond the tourist circuit. Suitable for riders aged six to 65, with or without prior experience. Based just an hour from the southern beaches.

What to expect

Expect a physically demanding ride on unforgiving ground. You'll be muddy, wet, and working the throttle constantly—this isn't a leisurely cruise. The instructor leads from the front, setting a brisk pace through dense jungle where visibility shrinks and roots catch tyres. River crossings can be slick; mud sections demand momentum and commitment. Waterfalls provide a brief relief and a genuine thrill. Between rides, you'll change in basic facilities, shower off, eat a local meal, and recover before the drive back. Wear old clothes and assume they're getting destroyed.
