Verona Pasta and Tiramisu Class in a Local Home by Cesarine

About this tour

Learn to make two pasta dishes and tiramisu from a home cook in Verona over three hours. You'll work through each recipe step-by-step in their kitchen, then sit down to eat what you've made alongside regional wines. This is a private lesson—just you, your host, and the ingredients. Cesarina hosts are practised home cooks who've welcomed travellers into their kitchens across Italy for years. Families with kids fit in well here.

Highlights

  • Hand-roll two Veronese pasta recipes from scratch
  • Master tiramisu layering and flavour balance
  • Lunch or dinner featuring your own cooking
  • Local wines paired with the meal
  • Private lesson in a local's actual home
  • Suitable for children and non-cooks

What to expect

You'll arrive at your host's home and get straight into the work. Expect to spend roughly 90 minutes making pasta—mixing dough, resting it, rolling and shaping by hand. Your host will demonstrate their technique first, then guide you through it. Next comes tiramisu: layering biscuits, mascarpone cream, and coffee in the right order to get the texture right. Once everything's done, you'll wash your hands and sit at their table to taste the results. The pasta should be tender, the tiramisu properly soaked and creamy. You'll drink water, wine, and finish with coffee.

Good to know

Wear something you don't mind getting flour on. The class runs three hours total, including prep and eating. Public transport is nearby if you need it. Let your host know about any dietary restrictions when you book.
