What to expect
You'll board early and spend eight hours on water and sand. The catamaran cuts across to Whitehaven first — expect a swim or wade in shallows, then a walk up to the lookout for photos. Back on deck, you'll motor to the first snorkel site, kit up with mask and snorkel, and spend 45 minutes or so in the water looking at coral gardens and reef fish. Lunch follows on deck. The second snorkel happens mid-afternoon at a different reef location. Between stops there's time to rest and chat. Weather or tidal conditions may shift where you snorkel, so the operator keeps flexibility on final sites.
Good to know
Bring reef-safe sunscreen and a rash vest. Fins aren't included — bring your own or go without. The boat uses ladders for boarding, so you need reasonable fitness and mobility. Children under two require pre-approval and their own lifejacket. Drinks cost extra; BYO snacks if the buffet menu doesn't suit. Add $13 fuel surcharge per person.
