Explore Bible Art at the National Gallery of London
When Em from our Global Hobo crew booked this National Gallery guided tour, we were curious whether a Bible-focused walk through Old Masters could genuinely shift how you read scripture. Turns out, standing in front of Caravaggio or Rembrandt while a guide connects the brushwork to actual biblical passages does something a screen can't. You'll move through 3–4 hours linking paintings from the 1500s–1800s to events in the Bible story, building a rough timeline as you go. It's a semi-private experience that feels more intimate than the usual gallery shuffle, and the National Gallery itself—busy but gorgeous—hums with the usual mix of school groups, art students, and tourists.
