About this tour

An introductory via ferrata scaling the Colodri wall above Arco, designed for families and newcomers to scrambling. This three-hour outing threads four short rock sections with enough handholds and bolts to feel adventurous without demanding serious climbing skills. You'll summit to views across Lake Garda's northern basin, take stock, then descend via a scenic descent path. The route works in regular hiking shoes and welcomes children from age six upwards.

Highlights

  • Four manageable climbing sections suitable for first-timers
  • Scramble the Colodri wall with lake views from the top
  • Children aged 6+ can participate in full outfit
  • Rope and harness provided; no prior experience needed
  • Professional photos taken and sent digitally post-tour
  • Return descent path with scenic walking sections

What to expect

You'll meet your guide in Arco and begin at the base of the Colodri rock face. The climbing pitches are brief and well-protected with fixed bolts and cables—think scrambling with your hands as much as your feet rather than serious rock climbing. Normal walking boots or trainers are fine. Once at the summit, you'll pause to catch breath and absorb the views. The descent follows a different, more gentle trail back down to town. Total time is roughly three hours moving; pace is relaxed to suit all fitness levels in your group.
