What to expect
You'll start in Monterosso and climb steadily into the National Park on electric-assisted bikes, which handle the terrain without exhausting your legs. The route winds past working terraces and rural sanctuaries, revealing how locals have shaped this landscape over centuries. Expect gravel and dirt paths rather than sealed roads—your guide reads the land and stops when something catches interest. The e-bike motor helps on steeper sections, but you're still pedalling and working. Views open constantly as you gain elevation, revealing the five villages stacked against cliff faces and the Ligurian Sea beyond.

Bring your own water, snacks, sunglasses and proper sports shoes. Minimum height 165 cm required for bike fit. Moderate fitness essential—this isn't a leisurely roll.
