About this tour
This six-hour via ferrata ascent takes you up Cima Capi with sweeping views across Lake Garda. You'll navigate fixed steel cables and rungs bolted into rock—technically straightforward but requiring steady legs and endurance. An experienced alpine guide handles safety whilst you focus on the scramble, the exposure, and those panoramic vistas of Italy's largest lake unfolding below.

- Panoramic Lake Garda views from the summit
- Six-hour guided climb with experienced alpine instructor
- All climbing gear supplied and insured
- Suitable for fit beginners with decent nerve
What to expect
Expect a steady uphill slog using your arms and legs to pull yourself along steel cables anchored into rock faces. The route isn't relentlessly vertical—there's plenty of walking between the more exposed pitches. Your guide will brief you on harness use and clipping in before you start. The scramble builds in intensity as you gain altitude, but exposure is manageable if you've got reasonable fitness and no fear of heights. Bring a litre or two of water and nibbles; you'll want them on the way up.
Good to know
You must arrive fit enough to walk briskly for 6–7 hours non-stop. Bring your own backpack, water (2L in summer), snacks, sunglasses, rain jacket, and proper trekking boots. Not suitable if you have spinal issues, pregnancy, cardiovascular weakness, or leg problems.
