Phnom Kulen Waterfall and Banteay Srei Temple Tour from Siem Reap
When Priya from the crew tackled this full-day loop from Siem Reap, she found herself bouncing between two very different Cambodia experiences: the forested serenity of Kulen Mountain, where a thundering waterfall and a massive Buddha statue anchor the scene, and the ornate pink sandstone carvings of Banteay Srei Temple. The mountain half feels quieter and more off-radar than the main Angkor temples—fewer tour groups, proper nature vibes—while the temple itself is jaw-dropping in detail. It's an 8–9 hour push with plenty of driving, suited to those who don't mind early starts and a fair bit of walking in tropical heat.
